U.S. Department of Education’s Credit Enhancement Program
Hope Enterprise Corporation (HEC) is proud to serve as a grantee of the United States Department of Education’s Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities Program. Through this support, HEC provides credit enhancements to mission-aligned lenders in order to reduce risks and make it possible for public charter schools in underserved communities to access affordable real estate financing that provide for the acquisition, construction, renovation, or leasing of a high-quality facility. Credit enhancements help bridge collateral gaps, lower borrowing costs, and ensure schools can direct more resources toward teaching and learning. HEC prioritizes schools located in low-income and under-resourced areas across the Deep South, ensuring that every investment strengthens both educational opportunity and community impact in both rural and urban areas in our region.
Hope Enterprise Corporation is seeking a qualified firm to support the data collection and analysis of academic, enrollment, and demographic data, as well as policy factors affecting the public charter school borrowers supported by HEC’s U.S. Department of Education Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities Program grant awards.
